For coaches training 9-13 year old players In the Skill Acquisition Phase the coach MUST focus on building a solid foundation of technical skill. The course is conducted over two days, is fully practical and deals with the development of the 4 Functional Game Skills: First Touch Striking the Ball Running with the Ball 1 v 1 Date: Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of April 2018 (2 day course) Time: 9am – 4pm (both days) Cost: $100 Venue: Cambridge New ground, Cambridge Registrations: https://education-ffa.sportingpulse.com/Entry/?EID=17369

For coaches training 5-9 year old players The 3 hour course is fully practical and encourages the coach to develop practices that are based on FUN. The emphasis is on natural development i.e. learning by PLAYING football. No coaching but organising FUN football exercises is the key to helping players build a love for the game. The course also covers basic rules of the game as well as tips and hints on building a football culture in a completely practical setting. Hosted by FFT. The AGM of the Association will occur in a few weeks – Monday 19 February. When: Monday February 19 2018 Where: Wellesley Park, South Hobart Time: 7:00pm The AGM agenda items are: Confirmation of AGM 2017 Minutes President, Treasurer and Auditors Reports Election of Office Bearers Appointment of Auditor Determination of the Renumeration of the Association’s Servants Nominations for all positions are invited. Please ensure these are submitted 7 days prior to the AGM (CRJFA Nomination form) It is vitally important that each club/ school is represented for the voting. If the nominated Delegate cannot attend please provide a proxy with an email to confirm their role.
